In the vast expanse of the internet, spam websites have emerged as an omnipresent phenomenon, captivating users through their deceptive allure and intricate webs of misinformation. This study aims to explore the characteristics, prevalence, and user interactions associated with spam websites, contributing to a deeper understanding of their role in the digital landscape.
Spam websites are typically characterized by their low-quality content, misleading information, and aggressive advertisement strategies. Observations conducted over a three-month period involved visiting a selection of known spam sites, analyzing their structure, and monitoring user engagement metrics such as click rates, bounce rates, GOOGLE DELETE PHISING and user comments. The main criteria for selection included websites that appeared on search engine results for popular topics yet provided no substantive information relating to these topics.
